At the Kashi School of Yoga we offer many programs and classes focusing on spirituality and health. Programs and classes include Kali Natha Yoga, meditation, chanting, breathing, Qi-Gong and Tae Kwon Do.

 

 

You may also attend meditation with Ma Jaya. During darshan (to see and be seen by the light), Ma shares her unique teaching and offers an opportunity to be immersed in the silence and depth of your being. To read examples of Ma's teachings on different subjects, click here.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Kali Natha Yoga - taught by various teachers Kali Natha Yoga consists of unique flow series given to us by Ma Jaya, that includes classical asanas, pranayama, mudras, mantras and meditations. This system of yoga can be used to strengthen, to calm and to go to a deeper spiritual place. It is a profound transformative tool and a moving prayer. Kali Natha Yoga can be practiced by anyone at any age and in any physical condition. There are no levels - classes are open to everyone.
Meditation - with Swami Moksha Ram

 

Meditation is a tool that helps you to calm the breath and still the mind. Meditation can help you to relieve stress and tension in your life, as you learn how to regulate the breath. It balances the nervous system and offers tremendous physical benefits. You will learn specific techniques and use them in your daily life. These classes are open to everyone.
Taekwondo - with Acharya Durga Das and Acharya Rudra Das

 

Learning Martial Arts gives you physical conditioning, discipline and self-confidence. In each class you will learn Tae Kwon Do forms, self-defense training and will engage in sparring. Anyone of any age level and in any physical condition can participate. These classes are taught by 5th Degree Black Belt Masters. There are quarterly rank tests.
Gentle Yoga - with Ganga Mayee

 

This class uses gentle and simple stretches, postures, movements, breathing and meditation and is geared for beginners, people with health challenges, injuries and for seniors.
Easy Stretch Yoga - with Radha This is a class for everyone including people with physical challenges. The class incorporates rudimentary stretches and introductory movements. This is a very gentle flow which integrates some yoga movements as well as body opening stretches.
Prosperity Yoga - with Jayanti This class focuses on Kali Natha Yoga asanas that invoke health, wealth, wisdom, happiness and prosperity. This is an all levels class, suitable for everyone.
Breath Class - with Babaji Learn how to connect with your breath and use the breath to deepen your life. As you learn to control the breath, you will better control the rhythms and patterns in your exercise program and in your daily life.
Qi-Gong - with Joan E Patrick

 

Qi-Gong is an easy and fun to do flowing meditative movement with conscious breathing that assists with mind and body connection, universal life force awareness, and body alignment. It stretches muscles and massages the internal organs.
Mommy & Me Music - with Annapurna Play & fun with a variety of music, instruments and toys. Brain development, socialization and a super fun hands on introduction to the experience of sound and rhythm. Drop in price $12 each. 8 weeks = $80. For more information call Annie at 532.6171.

Kundalini Meditation - with Sat Santokh Allows you to silence your mind, conquer fear and allow the Universe to serve you.  Through Kriyas using mantra, mudra, pranayam we develop a state of Shuniya—Silence of Contemplation to quiet the mind and enhance the flow of the electromagnetic field. We use the gong to allow us to move beyond the boundaries of the mind and facilitate release.
Sat Nam Rasayan - with Sat Santokh

6:00 - 8.00 PM Meditation with Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati: $10 suggested donation

Experience darshan (meaning to see and be seen by the light) with Ma as she shares her unique teaching and offers an opportunity to be immersed in the silence and depth of your being.

We begin the evening with kirtan (chanting), Ma will give darshan which usually includes a guided meditation. Prasad (food that's been blessed) is offered after darshan. Baby sitting for children is available.

Proper dress for darshan is requested - tops with sleeves, trousers/pants or long skirts - no shorts.

Free class:

Yoga - Saturday 4 pm

Darshan with Ma Jaya: $10 suggested donation
Taekwondo: $150 for six months. $300 for one year.
