SATISFIED WITH THE MOMENT

This moment, be a person who is satisfied with the moment. How does this feel? There is no searching, no wondering about greener pastures, no wanting what you do not have, no begging for what you feel you truly must have; you can sit and be content with all you do have. This place is called a place of gratitude.

Be grateful; do not complain about your life. Are there shadows running past that you are trying to grab? Grab hold of God’s love instead. See God’s love in all moments, even in moments of anguish. Be happy that you are alive and can thank God for your breath. Never mourn opportunities that could have come to you; give thanks for all that you have. Be willing and open to receive God’s gifts. You need to be aware to understand that God’s gifts come in many packages. Your life has a great value to your soul. Your flesh is a tool to learn how not to repeat mistakes. Shift in your mind how you feel about things this second. Be very positive; try your best not to be negative. God is in the trying. God is in the moment. When all desires are melted in the heart, there is only God. Shadows do not exist when there are no desires.

When you are going through a painful period in your life, do not let darkness prevail. It is especially at this time that you should have gratitude for your life. Find a moment of lightness while you are going through a pit of darkness, and soon the light will pervade all the darkness. You will have learnt how to consume life and not let life consume you.

The abundance of the universe can make your journey quite rich if you can appreciate what you already have. You have spiritual freedom in this great country of ours. For many in this world, there is no such thing. We who have this spiritual freedom must have gratitude before we can go on and be successful in other things. In other words, humility breeds success. The best of your life is in your moment. Gratitude takes you deep into the moment. All loneliness comes to an end when you are grateful. Life is a banquet when you have gratitude.
