JEALOUSY

Jealousy is the first Karmic Space you allow yourself to get stuck in, and this gives birth to the second one, which is anger. Jealousy brings on every other emotion known to the human thought process. Jealousy and anger can keep you in a constant state of agitation. Yet you can conquer this. As you meditate more, you begin to awaken from dullness and inertia. You can start this moment to store in your heart different impressions of love and spiritual joy.

When you have the thought that another is greater than you, you can see that is not even a possibility when you sit in the moment. If anything comes between your self and your Beloved, just let that thought go. What drama we humans create as we seek freedom from the bondage of jealousy!

Jealousy causes the birth of poisonous elements in your mental and physical bodies.  Then you get angry with yourself and slip into the second Karmic Space of Anger, thus bringing upon you a terrible pain in your heart.  As this happens, the heart grows a crust around it .

Each moment you can emerge from duality into the oneness. You can command yourself not to react to your own jealousy. There is a ripening of wisdom when you can begin not to react. Covet nothing. Just stop and breathe. Know that the first step in finding spiritual happiness is to be free from the clouds of jealousy.

If you feel that you are living in the Space of Jealousy, try to move on and be assured that you are not alone. Jealousy can also disappear if you can give up the notion that, “This is not fair.”  You have the knowhow to climb out of jealousy into non-duality. Draw a line in the sand and know that, at least for a few minutes, you will not go into a hurtful place of jealousy.  Make a stand in your life and say to yourself,  “I will not be jealous.”
